ABOUT

Our Congregation is a mix of Jewish and Gentile believers in Yeshua (Jesus), the Messiah of Israel. We recognize and value the Jewish origin of our faith and desire to study, worship, and present Him to the world in the Hebrew context in which He came.

We gather together weekly on Shabbat (Saturday) at 4 PM for Hebraic worship, Biblical teaching from the Jewish perspective, Messianic dance, and caring fellowship. We celebrate Havdalah and Seudat HaAdon (The Lord’s Supper) each month. All are welcome!

Bet Shalom is a member congregation of the IAMCS − International Alliance of Messianic Congregations and Synagogues and affiliated with the MJAA − Messianic Jewish Alliance of America.

VISION

To provide a place of learning, worship and congregational life for Jew and Gentile within the context of Biblical Messianic Judaism; to bring together Jews and Gentiles who have a shared vision for Jewish revival and to introduce our Jewish brothers and sisters to the promised Jewish Messiah, Yeshua.

MISSION

Bet Shalom Messianic Congregation is dedicated to sharing the Good News of God’s salvation through Israel’s Messiah, Yeshua (Jesus), from within a Jewish biblical, cultural and traditional context. The vision is to love and worship the God of Israel as a caring community, proclaiming Yeshua as Lord and Messiah to Jews and Gentiles by:

  • Bearing testimony congregationally and individually to the Good News of Salvation through Messiah Yeshua, available to all mankind, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile. (Romans 1:16)
  • Providing education in programs that teach the whole Word of God; from Genesis to Revelation, from a Biblical Hebraic perspective.
  • Expressing Jewish cultural forms at regular worship services.
  • Observing the Feasts and Holy Days of Israel in a Messiah-centered manner; rekindling the understanding of the inherent Hebrew roots of faith in Yeshua, the promised Messiah of Israel.
  • Praying for, and supporting the Jewish people and the nation of Israel.
  • To provide a place of learning, worship and congregational life for Jew and Gentile within the context of Biblical Messianic Judaism; to bring together Jews and Gentiles who have a shared vision for Jewish revival and to introduce our Jewish brothers and sisters to the promised Jewish Messiah, Yeshua.
