Sun Jan 27 – EN ROUTE
Depart the LAX US to Tel Aviv, Israel. Enjoy dinner served aboard the airplane.

Mon Jan 28 – ISRAEL – TEL AVIV
Upon arrival at Israel’s Ben Gurion International Airport, our representative will meet the group by the luggage carousel and assist us through customs. We will be transferred to our Mediterranean seaside hotel for our dinner and overnight.

Tues Jan 29 – GALILEE
We will begin our tour after a sumptuous Israeli breakfast, and drive south to the Biblical port city of Jaffa. We’ll stroll the narrow streets and visit the House of Simon the Tanner, and the site of the prophet Jonah’s departure. We will drive north along the famous highway, Biblically known as the ‘Way by the Sea’. We will arrive at Caesarea, where we will explore the ruins of the Roman theater and the Crusader City. We will see the reconstructed Roman city and the prison where Rabbi Shaul (Paul) was held in captivity before being sent to Rome. This was also the place where the first Gentiles believed in The Messiah of Israel. As we leave the beautiful walls and moat, we will pass the remains of the Roman horse racing Hippodrome. We will stop at the amazing remains of the Roman Aqueduct, which has been beautifully preserved under the sand dunes for 2000 years. We will continue to Mount Carmel and visit Mukhraka, the site where the Prophet Elijah defeated the 450 prophets of Baal. From here, there is a breathtaking view over the whole Valley of Jezreel, better known as the Valley of Armageddon. After a Falafel lunch in a Druze village, we continue to the famous “Tel Megiddo”, the archaeological mound, which inspired James Michener’s book, “The Source”. Here we can see the remains of King Solomon’s Stables, an altar from the time of Abraham (4000 years old), and the magnificent water tunnel. We continue across the Valley to view Mount Tabor. We arrive in Nazareth where we will view the Church of the Annunciation, and the Synagogue where Yeshua read the Scriptures. On the way to Tiberias, we pass Cana of Galilee, the village where Yeshua performed his first miracle – the miracle at the wedding. Arrival at our hotel in Galilee. Dinner and overnight Tiberias.

Wed Jan 30 – GALILEE
Wake up to a beautiful morning in the area where Yeshua spent 3 years of his ministry. Today we will dedicate our time to follow in the footsteps of Yeshua. After breakfast, we will a sail in a wooden boat across the Sea of Galilee, and visit the beautiful mosaic floor at Tabgha – the site of the miracle of the multiplication. Continue to Capernaum, ‘the Town of Yeshua, walk along the ruins of this Biblical Village, and see the Synagogue where Yeshua preached and the house of Peter’s mother-in-law. Drive to Magdalah and have the famous St. Peter’s fish for lunch in a restaurant on the seashore. We finish the day with Tevilah (Baptism) service at Yardenit at The Jordan River. Dinner and overnight Tiberias.

Thurs Jan 31 – GOLAN HEIGHTS
After breakfast, we will drive north to the Mount of the Beatitudes, where Yeshua delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Then continue north to the Golan Heights, visit Tel Dan and Abraham’s Gate. From there on to Caesarea Philippi and the Banias, one of the water sources of the Jordan River. Visit Mount Ben Tal and gaze over the Syrian border. Travel south to the city of Katzrin and visit the old Biblical village. Dinner and overnight Tiberias.

Today, after breakfast, we will have a spectacular horse ride in Galilee, and then drive south to Beit Sheaan, the largest archeological site in Israel. We will explore the ancient Roman City with the amphitheater and reconstructed streets. Continue south through the Jordan Valley via Jericho. We will view ancient Jericho and the Mt. of Temptation. We continue our journey as we drive to the lowest place on earth. Dinner and Overnight at our hotel in the Dead Sea.

Sat Feb 2 – MASADA
We will start this morning, with a visit to Masada, the site of the Zealots last stand against the Romans. It was originally built as a magnificent winter palace for Herod the Great. At this great fortress we will visit the bathhouse, the storage rooms, and the mosaics. We will have the rest of the day for R&R in the Dead Sea. Our hotel is by the shore of the Dead Sea, where we will swim, or to be more exact, float on this amazing sea – a non-swimmers paradise Overnight Dead Sea.

We will start this morning with a visit to Qumran Caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, then on to the lowest place on earth – the Dead Sea. From there we will start our ascent to Jerusalem, 2500 feet above sea level. As we enter the Holy City we will celebrate with a traditional blessing, while overlooking the walls of the City of the Lord with a magnificent view of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

We begin our day with a drive along the Mount of Olives, and have an amazing view of The Temple Mount. From There we will visit the Church of All Nation s and the Garden of Gethsemane, the Kidron Valley, viewing the Tomb of Zachariah as well as the Tomb of Absalom – King David’s son. We will enter the Old City via the Dung Gate, then proceed to the Western Wall – the remnant of Solomon’s Temple, the holiest Jewish site – and touch the ancient stones. We will continue to the famous Tunnels from the Hasmonaim era and out to the Via Dolorosa and the Arab Market – the Shuk, with it’s hundreds of stores selling many types of artifacts. We will visit the Jewish Quarter, where we will see the renovated Cardo and its excavations, the Temple Institute, and The City of David. In the afternoon, we will overview Shepherds’ Field and Bethlehem. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Tues Feb 5 – JERUSALEM
Today We will visit the Davidson Center and the Southern Steps, then ascend the Temple Mount, where we will view the site of the two former Jewish Temples. We will visit the Pools of Bethesda, and will exit the Old City via the Lions Gate. Then visit Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Memorial. Later, we continue to the Israel Museum and the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls can be seen. We will view the Knesset- Israel’s parliament. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. In the evening, we will walk and shop in the famous pedestrian area – Ben Yehuda Street.

Today after breakfast we will drive to the Ela Valley and reenact the story of David and Goliath. Continue via Beit Shemesh to Emmaus. We will end the day with Seudat Ha’Adon (The Lord’s Supper) Service at the Garden Tomb. In the evening we will celebrate with a Banquet Farewell dinner and presentation of Pilgrimage Certificates

Thurs Feb 7 – Travel Home
We transfer to the Tel Aviv airport this morning for our return flights home.
