Our Mission
Bet Shalom Messianic Congregation is dedicated to sharing the Good News of God’s salvation through Israel’s Messiah, Yeshua (Jesus), from within a Jewish biblical, cultural, and traditional context.
How We Fulfill Our Mission
The vision is to love and worship the God of Israel as a caring community, proclaiming Yeshua as Lord and Messiah to Jews and Gentiles by:
Bearing Testimony
Bearing testimony congregationally and individually to the Good News of Salvation through Messiah Yeshua, available to all mankind, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile.
Romans 1:16
Providing Education
Providing education in programs that teach the whole Word of God; from Genesis to Revelation, from a biblical Hebraic perspective.
Deuteronomy 6:7
Expressing Jewish Culture
Expressing Jewish cultural forms at regular worship services, celebrating the richness of our biblical heritage through dance, music, and traditional practices.
Exodus 15:20–21
Observing the Feasts
Observing the Feasts and Holy Days of Israel in a Messiah-centered manner; rekindling the understanding of the inherent Hebrew perspective of faith in Yeshua, the promised Messiah of Israel.
Leviticus 23
Supporting Israel
Praying for and supporting the Jewish people and the nation of Israel, recognizing God’s covenant promises and ongoing relationship with His chosen people.
Genesis 12:3
Providing Community
To provide a place of learning, worship and congregational life for Jew and Gentile within the context of biblical Messianic Judaism; to bring together Jews and Gentiles who have a shared vision for Jewish revival.
Ephesians 3:6
Our Vision
To provide a place of learning, worship and congregational life for Jew and Gentile within the context of Biblical Messianic Judaism; to bring together Jews and Gentiles who have a shared vision for Jewish revival and to introduce our Jewish brothers and sisters to the promised Jewish Messiah, Yeshua.
We believe that in Messiah Yeshua, the “middle wall of partition” has been broken down. Now we worship the God of Israel together—Jews and Gentiles united in faith, learning from one another, and growing together in the knowledge of our Savior.
What This Looks Like in Practice
Weekly Worship
Every Shabbat, we gather to worship Adonai, read from the Torah, and hear teaching that connects the entire Bible—from Genesis to Revelation—revealing Yeshua throughout.
Biblical Feasts
We celebrate God’s appointed times—Passover, Shavuot, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot—observing them with Messiah Yeshua at the center, understanding their prophetic significance.
Teaching & Learning
Through our Messianic Lifestyle Class and weekly services, we study Scripture from its Hebrew context, learning the language, culture, and traditions that illuminate God’s Word.
Outreach
We actively share the Good News with both Jewish people and Gentiles, helping Jewish believers maintain their Jewish identity while following Yeshua, and helping Gentile believers understand their grafted-in status.
Israel Connection
We maintain a strong connection to Israel through prayer, support, education about current events, and regular tours to the Holy Land led by Rabbi Amnon.
Community Life
We care for one another as family, sharing sumptuous meals together, celebrating life’s milestones, supporting each other through difficulties, and growing together in faith.
Our Biblical Foundation
One Gospel for All
We firmly believe that salvation comes through faith in Yeshua the Messiah—for both Jews and Gentiles. There are not two paths to salvation, but one Lord, one faith, one baptism.
Salvation has always been “by faith,” and works of law, or righteous acts, have never saved anyone. We acknowledge that the New Covenant body of believers is composed of both Jews and Gentiles who have received Yeshua the Messiah as the Promised Redeemer.
Grafted In Together
Jewish people who place their faith in Israel’s Messiah, Yeshua, continue to be Jewish according to the Scriptures. Gentiles who place their faith in Yeshua are “grafted into” the Jewish olive tree of faith, becoming spiritual sons and daughters of Abraham.
The “middle wall of partition” has been broken down and now we worship the God of Israel together, united in Messiah Yeshua.
Be Part of Our Vision
Whether you’re Jewish or Gentile, exploring Messianic Judaism or deeply rooted in the faith, there’s a place for you at Bet Shalom. Come be part of a community that honors both Torah and Messiah, celebrates the feasts of Israel, and loves the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
